Since I don't feel up to writing a book today, as that is what it would require to "catch you up" after many years, I'll try the condensed version. Everyone who might know me is aware I was from Califonia, so probably my returning in 1970 wasn't that shocking. Had lots of fun but returned to Texas where I found my "home town". Went to visit an old friend for one day's visit and wound up spending 10 years in Austin. Great music, great times. Married Steve Thompson in 1979 and moved to Midland when I realized I didn't know nothin' 'bout birthing babies and I hoped my mother-in-law did (luckly, after 3 of her own, she did). Had a son, Kendall in Dec 1980. We lived that American Dream in Midland. Church, Scouts, Swim Team, Soccer, Basketball. Couldn't have been better (unless of course, Midland had been closer to trees and water...had to drive 6 hrs to find them). When...Expand for more
